Luke 1:37 "For nothing is impossible with God."
This scripture was spoken by the angel to Mary who told her she would be with child though she'd never been with a man. She had asked how this would be. Absolutely nothing is impossible with God. He can do anything. Also, back in Jeremiah's day, he prayed to the Lord, saying: "Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you (Jeremiah 32:17)."
I was reading in a book, Unlocking the Mysteries of Creation, by Dennis R. Peterson. It talks of the building blocks of all physical reality being atoms which are composed of three things: space, matter, and energy. When Genesis 1:1 says that God created the heavens, the word literally means stretched out space. He also created the earth, which simply means "the dirt or matter from which everything else is made." But all was without form and void. However, the Spirit of God was hovering. And when God said, "Let there be light!," there was the energy needed to begin the process. This light, this energy included all forms of light (energy), that which we cannot see as well as that which we can see.
Colossians speaks of Jesus Christ, Colossians 1:16, 17: For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Should we not look to the source of all things for all that we need in our lives? Anything is possible with God!
