Ephesians 5:19, 20 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you like musicals? Some folks don't. But God seems to really love them. He actually tells us to speak to one another with songs and to make music to the Lord in our own hearts. And the type of music we're encouraged to make is that of thankfulness. Kenny blesses folks everywhere he goes with songs. And, I know, we all may not have solo voices. I guess there may be a lot of ways to "sing." And to sing in our hearts, we don't even have to utter with our mouths necessarily. What song are you singing today?
And listen to this: The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17)." God's singing, too! You are His song. Is He yours? What puts a song in your heart? Thank you, Lord, for that!
