Kenny & Kim Davis make up the chief officers of the KDM Board and the staff of KDM. They live at Yeshua's Vineyard. Kenny & Kim have two awesome sons, Kevin & Kyle. They've blessed us with an awesome daughter-in-law, Taraleigh (Kyle's wife), and together the two boys have blessed us with 8 wonderful grandchildren.
Kenny has sung gospel music with his family since he was a small boy. He came to know the Lord personally at the age of 9. Kenny recived a B.A. in sociology from East Carolina University. During this time, God called him into the full-time service of the ministry. Following his graduation from ECU, Kenny furthered his studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received a Master of Divinity degree. He has served North Carolina churches as Youth and Education Director, Associate Pastor, and Pastor prior to forming KDM in 1982. Soon after forming KDM, Kenny was introduced to a Methodist evangelist, John Hobbs. The two became a dynamic team--John teaching and preaching and Kenny leading in praise and worship and special music. Kenny and John are still traveling together. They have a beautiful way of meeting people where they are, encouraging them, and taking them on further into the journey of discovering our Heavenly Father's heart. Kenny loves to meet new people and to share with them the joy of the Lord. In addition to traveling with John, Kenny also ministers alone or with Kim in song and in word.
Kim grew up in a Christian home and found the Lord at the age of 9. She, too, sensed a call on her life as a teenager. Kenny and Kim married in 1973, and Kim assisted and supported Kenny in their work in various North Carolina churches. Their first son, Kevin, was born in 1976 and a second son, Kyle, was born in 1978. Being a mom to the two boys, especially as Kenny was traveling, was first priority. As the boys grew older, Kim began serving in various capacities in her local church body. The Lord continued to move her into various places of service, and from 1996 until January 2004, she served Life-Changing Christian Outreach as Associate Pastor. She loves to spend time with the Lord in prayer and in worship. She also loves to teach the Word of God.
The Board of Directors of KDM consists of Kenny & Kim Davis, Cherry & Mike Smith, Dee Welch, Joshua & Alicia Seawell, and Bob & Linda Prezioso. Together, they form an awesome team seeking the Lord for His wisdom and direction for Kenny Davis Ministries.
